Tickets are now sold out for this.
Oh no they're not!

They were sold out but (for some unknown reason) more have become available. As of lunchtime on Friday 16th, there are STILL tickets on sale. I was originally allocated Block D row 17 (bloody cheek as I ordered as soon as they went on sale!) but, out of curiosity after reading this forum, I went to the seetickets.com site and found they are selling them again! I ordered more got Block B Row A!! Still can't find a seating plan, so I'm not sure how good these are but Block B sounds better than Block D!

Still confused by some blocks having numbers and some blocks not - the ones on sale now are all blocks with a number....... so are ones without numbers better or worse? :?

It is bizarre. My original tickets say "Block D1" and the seats I booked today say "Block B". I can't see each block being sub-divided other than by row, so I imagine the number after the block number will be meaningless.

My guess as to why these extra seats (blocks B & C) are now available is that ther organisers haven't got as many "plants" in the audience as hoped.

Which, I have to say, is mind-numbingly dumb on their part!
Well, as RP put it to me via e-mail earlier this year: "we realise we're not always as efficient as we could be"

Who knows. Now offering block B3AA8 as being better than anything in blocks C1,C2, or D1.
All probably infinitely better than the D3F22 I got from my order of over a month ago.
Perhaps they are emulating the "First shall be last etc" doctrine or perhaps they are just hopelessly inefficient.
I suspect the latter.

If we reefer to the Darts event's seating map, the block letter may have no real meaning about the location regarding the stage... I'm still hoping that the firsts reservations are the best seated... but difficult to know what to expect... :|

We will know that in 8 days now :)

Paul: I ordered a second ticket in the hope it might be in a better location than the first one. I have to pick them up from the box office on the day. I know the seat numbers, but I have no idea what the numbers mean in terms of actual location in relation to the stage. You're welcome to have the one that I choose not to use.

Did all you sneaky second bookers never think that we could have co-ordinated a purchase of a group block so we could sit together rather than look like Billy-no-mates?

Still not sure what (if any meaningful) participation libera will be undertaking at the SoP golden jubilee party. The best indication is that the BBC still list them in the performing choirs section. It would be amazing if they could back Bocelli. How many times have we heard the 'top tens alongside the likes of Bocelli and Pavarotti...' chart script. How nice it would be for them to sing with the king of solo classical vocal.

Just simulated a walk from the 'Jolly Anglers' pub to Ally Pally on google maps, just... a) to see how far it would be, and b) because I was bored. Not too bad during daylight and if the weather's fine (which it is forecasted to be), but not so clever at night (too many ambush points were your wallet could easily dissapear without consent) The free shuttle bus sounds sensible for the return leg at least, but can you imagine the queues!

I think we should all stick together for the return leg. Who would even think of ambushing a bunch of Libera nutters
If they try for my wallet I will beat them with my SOP program
