H1N1= not so dangerous for people wo are normally healthy.Fever is 5 days
and couching-fit some longer time ,but it is like a normal soft flu
I am older then 60 and in the Neterlands everybody above 60 can have a shot against it if they want ,so i have recieved the first shot 14nov
I think for small childen it is more danger

That's terrible. Now I feel guilty for neglecting to get my shot. If I could pass it to you, I would.TEB wrote:You all should be glad you are allowed to have the shot. I am not. I do not fall into any of the so-called danger catagories so I have been refused a shot. All I was allowed to have was the seasonal shot.
The only reason I got the shot is because of direct patient contact in the hospital. The rest of my family are not eligible to get it yet. My advice for everyone is that always wash your hands. Wash your vegetable well (I have seen people coughing and sneezing into their hands still while shopping in the supermarket
).

I hear a sky-born music still:
It sounds from all things old,
It sounds from all things young,
From all that's fair, from all that's foul,
Peals out a cheerful song.'

The H1N1 vaccine is recommended for anyone between the ages of 6 months and 24 years, healthcare workers, and anyone between 25 and 65 with certain underlying health conditions - heart disease, COPD, pregnanacy, etc. After those segments of the population have been vaccinated anyone between 25 and 65 may receive the vaccine. The only egment of the population not recommended to be vaccinated, other than those with contraindications, are people 65 years and older.TEB wrote:You all should be glad you are allowed to have the shot. Always assuming there will be any of the vaccine left by then.TullyBascombe wrote:The H1N1 vaccine is recommended for anyone between the ages of 6 months and 24 years, healthcare workers, and anyone between 25 and 65 with certain underlying health conditions - heart disease, COPD, pregnanacy, etc. After those segments of the population have been vaccinated anyone between 25 and 65 may receive the vaccine.
