*Sorry Kevin, I ordered it before you put it up on LDS.
I thought about that actually, but if the releasing date is likely to be the same, I'd rather order from Amazon US or other US vendors and pay less shipping fee.

The last time I ordered Eternal CD from Amazon UK, it took like 2weeks to get here :S Maybe it'll process faster for this but I dont wanna risk "what if." I'm just trying to see which one has a better deal ;)

Try and stick to your own country if you can, as it will count towards their charts sales. i.e. amazon.com towards billboard charts, amazon.co.uk towards UK top 40 charts etc....

Although I can understand if it's released in other countries before your own, why you would want to get a copy as soon as possible. With 'Peace' being an international release, I expect it will be available more or less at the same time between March 3-8th.

I ordered via Libera's amazon shop.

Sorry Kev but I've done a fan_de_LoK and ordered it from Amazon Japan with express delivery in the hope I'll get it before the 8th

I daren't tell you all how much it cost, but the postage is more than the album

I've still booked the 8th off from work just in case i need to rush out to HMV and buy a copy because the the Japanese one doesn't arrive in time.

Will you forgive me?

(I did book it via the Libera shop though :D )

I had a question since we're talking about preordering. If I purchased a Libera CD through Amazon, would the money still go to Libera like The Libera Dream Shop does? I would rather purchase it in a place where Libera gets as much of the finance as they can.

If you go to the Libera official website there is a link to Amazon via their shop. If you then select any album (or other purchase from Amazon) and proceed to the check out a small percentage of the sale goes back to Libera (plus the usual album royalties). However, and Kevin can verify this, I think if you buy through Libera Dreams store a bigger part of the price will go back to Libera than buying through Amazon.

Yeah, same here! That's why I'm not sure about ordering from Barnes and Noble again.

Don't cry Yorkie !
You may know that I have ordered a CD from both Amazon.UK and .JP, but you don't know that for a delivery to France, I had to pay in both case more for the shipment than for the CD !

Now the only thing that remain to me to do is to pray....
... To pray that the French Postmen will not do in march one of these strike they are so used to do at the wrong moment !!

Last time I ordered from Barnes and Noble they cancelled my order without refunding my payment.

Technically, the money goes to EMI which gets split with the group, Libera does not get the whole cut and that money goes to management which gets divided again amongst the members. Not sure exactly how that division occurs if it even does and whether the boys get to touch it, however.

The Libera Dreams Shop gives the ENTIRE AMOUNT to not just Libera, but to the church of St. Philips as well. We are a non-profit website, all money earned and/or received are sent to Libera and St. Philips in the form of donations. We even send the group little holiday goodies and when Libera was coming to the US, we sent them gift cards to local stores for them to spend. We dont keep any money made, it all gets sent to the group and their church, so you know your money gets sent to a very good cause.
dearmadine wrote:That's awesome!! I just have a few questions regarding pre-order.

1. Does the tentative selling price ($17.95-19.95) includes shipping cost? If no, what would be shipping cost be like? FYI, I'm in Massachusetts.

2. The EMI has mentioned that the album releases on March 8th. Let's say it will be out on March 8th. If I pre-order from the Libera Dreams Shop, when is the expected delivery date?

I really want my CD asap and seems like your main competitor is Amazon US. I hope you dont mind these questions.
1. No, shipping is an additional $3.00 for USPS First Class for 1 CD, $1.00 for additional CDs. Please note that the exact price for the CD has not yet been determined.

2. Theres too many factors to determine from that. We have to wait on our vendor. They could ship late or early and shipping could even get delayed. We have to import our stock from the UK since there is nothing regarding a US release as of yet, which could be a month away so that would make us early.

It is entirely up to you on who you choose to pre-order the product with. I am no one to say you have to get it with us, so theres no need to apologize if youve already pre-ordered with Amazon, Im not mad ;)

The beauty of the English language mate, it can turn to anything :D Can even make an adjective out of my favourite Frenchman

And blimey two CD's to be delivered at a huge premium! - I knew that the French economy had picked up but you lot must be minted (#minted# English slang for well off, rolling in it, lots of money).
