English first...
There's a light up on the mountains
And the day is at the spring
When our eyes shall see the wonders
And the glory it will bring
It shouldn't be "its", coz then we would have "brings", not "bring".
"mountains" is misspelled but that's a minor issue.
Also, the "up on" can be either two words or one word. I'm agnostic on this one.
Hark! we hear a distant music
And it comes with fuller swell;
'Tis the glorious song of heaven
And our fears it will dispel
I'm pretty sure it's "our fears".
Dispel has one 'l'.

Next the Latin...
The Latin I know comes mainly from singing, with some random bits of grammar thrown in. So the following may not make any sense...
??Et laudate dominum?? in lætitia
Et cantate domino, gloria
Secula et??? seculorum,
Alleluia !
Exsultate domino, omnes populi, alleluia !
Jubilate domino, omnis terra, alleluia !
Angeli et archangeli
???salvete et laudate???
(No idea)

lol, that's my spelling fail.

I'm not a very good speller.
Yeah, now that I listen to it again, it does sound more like "our fears" than "of this."
Angeli et archangeli
psallite et laudate

(in nobis??) et

(something that sounds like "sanguis"??)
and I'm working on the rest...
I don't know much Latin, but I think I'm getting somewhere. Maybe...

salvete sounds ok but it could be psallite as libera36 said.
After that, I hear a "in missa/e salvis et gaudicis". I'm not sure if that makes sense.

That sounds about right to me, but I'm not sure about the "in missa/e" part. That doesn't seem to fit quite right...

It's really bugging me now... I feel as if I have heard the soloist on "The Fountain" before, but I can't figure out who it is.... His voice is like a mix of Michael H's, Tom Cully's, Liam Connery's, Josh's and... this other person who can't seem to remember.

I'm leaning towards Liam at the moment, just because the lower notes are so smooth and controlled, and most of the solo seems to be in more of the alto range. I guess I'll have to wait for the album to be released to find out for sure.

As of this second, I'm 99.99% sure it is Alex Leggett... but watch that change in ten minutes!

It would be nice if Liam had this beautiful solo as his last hurrah. If it is not Liam then I think it could be a Leggett or maybe Jakob

Wow, I haven't been around this site in a few days and I'm sooo glad I checked tonight! Ran out in the cold to get my Eternal CD from the car so I could listen to the new tracks. Ave Virgo is so beautiful. I cannot wait for this album, 99% sure it will surpass Visions as my favorite Libera album ever.
Listening to Exsultate now...loving it. Definitely reminds me of the earlier stuff. And I'm always a big fan of the predominantly Latin songs because I love the language. Now to pick the words apart *grabs pen and paper*

It's interesting how varied our tastes are in the forum. I literally want to dance an Irish jig when I listen to Exsultate. At the very least, my body is bobbing up and down with the music.

I love the low parts and am getting fonder and fonder of the descant in the background.

Actually i love Exsultate, the other tracks are somewhat 'serious' and rather dark, Exsultate breaks the icy atmosphere really.. such a fun song!
It's better moved to New Dawn though, and put Sancte in Peace.. that's more appropriate i think.

I agree, "Exsultate" is such a funny song.

It sounds so bouncy!

OK. I confess, it is Ben doing the intro at the start of Exsulate.
Just hoping it is Ed on Ave Virgo because if it isn't there is not much of him on this album.........I have to say I'm beginning to think it isn't.
Oh, I'm so confused

i really cant hear Ed in Ave Virgo, but that means hes probably not got a solo cause all the other seem to have been taken by new boys or Ben and Josh
