Thanks for the link! Ralph's voice is so clear, crisp, smooth and solid. He already sounded incredible when i heard him live last year, he's gonna be one of the Libera greats i tell you.

I just wish the song was longer.

I heard this song in Epsom but now I can listen it with much more attention and I have to say what a hit! It's really beautiful, I have the tears in my eyes. Ralph's voice is so well chosen for this song!

A wonderful song, sung so beautifully. I agree Ralph will join the others as a great soloist. But even they need the choir and each boy brings something to the music.
Thank you for this link, I hope this song will be avaiable on a CD in Europe.

Ralph's voice is just so pure. Somehow, this song feels like it could belong in one of the older albums like Sing Forever.

Anyway, this might not be the place to do it, but can somebody give a rundown of which choristers have left the Libera touring group? I haven't really followed all the ins and outs lately.

Well, because the tour hasn't started yet it is sort of difficult to tell, but it seems that Sam Leggett, Josh and James T. have all left the touring group. And depending on how long its been since you were following everything thing, Alfie and Flynn left last summer. There have been several new boys though; Dylan Duffy and Barney Lindsell both toured on the UK tour in the fall, as well as Jude Collins and Eoghan McCarthy, who performed at the Epsom concert!

Also the Akpombe brothers, Mine and Sere, weren't in Epsom, nor was Matthew Madine. They all seem pretty young to leave though..

It seems that the Akpobome brothers don't go on tour outside of the UK, but they have been in the group for quite awhile, so my guess would be that they haven't left... As far as Matthew goes, perhaps he isn't old enough, or ready to tour yet?

Thanks, I know about Alfie and Flynn leaving, but I was looking at one of the pics and couldn't remember if it was James T or Sammy M who left. I think Jude's been on tour since Spring last year but I definitely am behind on the new boys that have joined the tour this year.

Jude's older brother, Luke was on the Spring 2010 tour. I think Jude first appeared at Arundel last spring!

You all have right. It is your own opinion. Ralph has the right voice for this song. Better voice RP could not have found. It sounds clear but it sounds even soft. The instruments in the background sound artificial, synthetic. The chorus plays a small role in this song.

I like the song. I've heard it about 20 times and it keeps getting better. But it took a long time before it happened. "Song of Life" is a beautiful song but I enjoy it better if the whole choir sings more and less solo will be sung. Then the solo is really something special and not the rule. LIBERA is a choir, and they make choral music.

This is just my own opinion.

Canada tour just starts today, so I can only give information about the 'touring group' 2010 and the Epsom concert last month.

joined in touring group:
Eoghan, Jude, Dylan, Cassius, Matthew J., Barney

leaved touring group:
Alfie, Flynn, Akpobome brothers, Josh, Sam L., Ed, James Th., Cole brothers, Michael V., Zac

The junior group which appeared Arundel 2010, I think many boys of this group were never in the 'touring group' and also never in the Libera main group.
