Libera Dreams

I have made a small change to see if I can fix the logoff problem that some users of IE8 and some other browsers are experiencing.
You may need to reload the page (Ctrl + F5)
Please could you post if this has fixed the problem, if not could you let me know what browser you are using.

I'm a firefox user but I have still IE8 on my laptop.

Just tested, and sadly it's not ok (see image)

I have noticed that the 4 entries from the menu bar are in fact present on the screen.
Instead of being located horizontaly on the dark blue bar at the top of the page, with IE8 the 4 entries are located vertically on the right hand side corner. The first "User control panel" is visible, the 3 orthers are on the screen but hiden by the image.

it seems that IE8 is considering the 4 entries like a "list", with a little white dot added in front of each entry...

Hmm, I'd say there is still something to be changed.
I'm using FireFox at the moment, because my IE9 wasn't displaying login option ..

I used to see the logout option using IE9 but since the alterations have been made, now I can't ? I only see "User Control Panel" at the top right.

I actualy have a fix for this now, but i'm a little bit errm.... I've had a couple of drinks so I would rather wait until the morning to apply this, just in case I mess up.

Even Libera Dreams site admins tend to be humans after all

I'm currently at work and I test the login procedure with an old IE 7 : same problem as IE8

So I was myself not wrong saying that IE8 was considering the menu entries like a vertical "list"

(why are most of the smilleys turned ugly recently ?? Somes remain round and nice, but the majority of the smileys are now oval and blurry... )

I made some changes in the code and it seems to work now. At least on my tests in IE9.

So honorable members of Libera-Dreams, please test them out and let me know if it's working or not (and also on which Browser)

I knew viabuona would be a massive asset in helping get Libera Dreams up to date. I really feel much progress has been made and is in the pipeline.

Also moderators are doing a fine job in helping to troubleshoot and bring to our attention any bugs and problems. But this is also true for all of the members. A big thank you to all who have contributed, however small.

Already, I can see Libera Dreams starting to grow. I see an increase in web hits and new members. Libera Dreams is on the up for sure
