Chris Evans show

Post by danieb88 »

Kavana just tweeted that they would be on the Chris Moyles show (bbc breakfast radio show) tomorrow (thursday). No more info than that though!

Edit: It was actually the Chris Evans show on Radio 2, you can find the show here:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01872ng" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and thanks to some very dedicated people (Dani, Marteendas and anyone else I havent mentioned!), here are the times of when Libera are on (what has been found so far at least!)

In Dulci Jubilo at 0:50

Once in Royal David's City at 1hrs 23mins 15secs

Got some greetings from the boys at 2.00

Winter Wonderland at 2.03.10 (Thanks to Yuki on twitter for those!)

In the Bleak Midwinter 2 hrs 30mins

Away In a Manger 2 hrs 58mins roughly

Thanks for the help guys! :D

Yes, just saw that tweet. I'm not really a fan of Chris Moyles, so BBC IPlayer will come in very useful here, but hey the point is 8 million people do listen to him! So great exposure for Libera.

ps. Libera official site/facebook appears a bit hit and miss announcing libera appearances. They did for QVC but haven't mentioned the last few tv appearances.

It was actually the Cris Evans show as Kavana had got it wrong :)

As far as i can see they got to sing "In the Bleak Midwinter"

Also a image http://wwwimg.bbc.co.uk/programmes/i/51 ... bc39de.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks to Hannah on Twitter the time for " ITBM" is roughly 2 hrs 30mins. They also sung another song but i have not found that as the show is over 3hrs long.

You can listen to the show here:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01872ng" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It's 179 minutes long :shock:

And it says I've only got 7 days to listen to it. Is there any way to preserve this for posterity :?:

Tweet from Kavana:
THANK YOU @BBCRadio2 for letting us #Libera sing this morning, and thanks @achrisevans :) nice meeting you, hope you enjoyed my magic trick!
I wonder what trick he did :mrgreen: Magically disappearing in his hood? :lol: :wink:

Away in the manger is at 2 hrs 58mins roughly.

A lot of patience is needed as i was doing the trick of skipping 3 mins at a time as that's roughly the length of a song but that does not work as they get to sing about 40 secs of a song. So unless you are prepared to sit there and listen to it all then you can easily skip there bits im afraid.

I have grown tired so i will leave you guys to find anymore hidden treasures on there.

With a powerful descant halfway through and a lovely sweet solo near the end. I have to say i can't hazard a guess as to who sang what though.

Btw I agree, it's like a needle in a haystack thing, searching for the Libera bits :?

Was it just me or did they sound fantastic this morning? Dare I say it, but an album with them singing like that was what I was hoping for from the Christmas CD. Oh well, maybe next time :D

I just want a album like this without all the techno meddling . Does not need to be an xmas album.

Loved it! Love to hear other songs also!!

Who is singing the solo from away in a manger?? Don't recognize the voice. Not Stefan or Ralph. Right??
