what is your favorite song from the DVD?

Post by mintsea »

"Do not stand at my grave and sweep" is by far my favorite song in the dvd. TOM TOM TOM is amazing. he gives in such an emotion into the song too.
In the line " I'm the wind in the morning's hush" go watch it again if you have the DVD.

Going Hom is my another favorite. mainly because Josh has a solo in it. :P

I cant really choose a favorite as I love all the songs on the DVD. But I must say I liked Josh, Tom, and Ben's version of "Going Home".

Do you guys like "Vespera"? I absolutely love it. I still can't choose a favorite though. I love most of their songs, scratch that, I love all of their songs.

Listening to I Am The Day Live is absolutely amazing. I am pretty sure it sounds better live in person but watching it from the DVD, it sounds absolutely stunning.

Well, not on the dvd or cd but they did play the song " Sacris salemnis"
They stood all in one line, and almost at the end when all the instruments were played together, as a big explosion, they all did a step forward.
That brought an extra accent to the sound of that instrumental explosion in that church. That was truly amazing !!

Yes, the concert dvd.
Like I said : they did play it in the concert (I was there ) but it's not on the dvd.
If it was on the dvd, it would be one of my favorites.
They also had played " Silent night" which isn't on the dvd either.

I guess my favorite (and I'm going on what I saw on t.v.) would be Lacrymosa. I love the mysterious sound of it. I also love Ben's voice.

They have recorded Silent night for a special Christmas show or something like that. The event in Leiden started with SANCTUS and ended with SACRIS. I guess a bonus to those of us who were there. I guess somewhere around the states you will see Silent Night in Christmas shows.

I watched the entire program on my local PBS station because I was told that Libera sang Silent Night. I was hoping they would sing it on the DVD or the program but was disappointed. But thats perfectly okay.

I did tel you that it wasn't on the dvd nor the PBS program.
Like AIAI said : they recorded three Christmas songs so the American television network APT could use it for Christmas, the three songs were :
Ave Maria, Silent night and Sacris salemnis. I was hoping that they would be on the dvd and was disappointed that only Ave Maria was added.
I'm sorry if you had missunderstood it , must be my Dutch-English :? , but I did try to tell it right. Sorry for the missunderstanding.
And like I said before: if Sacris was on the dvd than that would probably be my favorite. Why ?? just read my explanation about the instrumental explosion a few posts back.

I understood, I just wanted to say that because I was disappointed that the PBS broadcast did not play Silent Night or Sacris Solemnis.

OK than :)

Am I right if I say that Ben C. talks about a new album on the dvd ?
cause that part has no subtitles.
Wel, lets hope that the other two songs are coming with the next album as a vcd, I know, I'm fantasising but that would be nice.
