It looks great! The soundcloud embedding doesn't work, but it would appear that the soundcloud server is blocking this feature and that there is nothing to be done.

I haven't had time to check the new features, but if Sound Cloud is blocking, then as you say. "There is nothing to be done"
Thanks.

So, I have been having a good look at the new update, and personally I like it very much. The whole system seems much more positive and responsive, its a real pleasure to use. It works very well with smart phones also.
Maybe we can move away from twitter a bit and get posting more on here during concert times.
I have been using it now for several hours since I finished the update. Starting to feel it a bit now as it 4:10am GMT Time for some shut eye I'm thinking.
Lets hope that this update has been fairly bug free, I do hope not to have many fixes to do later today. I think 7 hours work is long enough.
So far, so good

Thanks,
But looks is not the whole story. More importantly, it is the most recent update and many hacker vulnerability's have been fixed.

I'm liking it so far Paul - thank you for your work.
Can't figure out how to embed YouTube videos but I'm sure it's just me

I like the FAQ page--must be new, or un-buried. The new page is looking great!

Hey Paul,
I just noticed a glitch with a countdown timer thing. It uses the local time of the machine for the countdown. So at the moment it is counting down to 7:30 pm EST (my time zone) when I pull up the forum - as opposed to a countdown to 7:30 pm GMT. I am not sure if this is a script embedded in the forum software or if it is something you wrote yourself; but I wanted to make you aware of it. This is certainly not something worthy of a lot of time on your part to fix; I just wanted you to know about it because seeing as you are in the UK you might never see this issue.
Please don't remove the timer even if this is not fixable, I like it!!

Thanks for the feedback. It is not something I have written, It is an official mod. Added to my lower priority list.

I really like the tiny button that takes you back to the top of the page. So much easier than scrolling!

Yorkie wrote:#Edit# Paul - when you click on the link it replaces the LD forum page with the page that the link takes you to. Would it be possible when you click on a link to have it open a new window rather than take you away from LD?
I have looked at changing the default behaviour of having a link open in a new tab or window, this cannot be done without manually modifying the forum, and this mod would only effect new links. I was hoping to avoid having to make manual edits, as this complicates updates later on. However, I have posted about this in the developers forum, with the hope an official mod could be made.
For now though, there is a workaround. If you right click on a link, you have the option to open in a new Tab / Window.
