Hi everyone,
I'm Niels and I am 27 years and from Holland.
I know Libera now for 2.5 years and I seen them last summer live in vallendar Germany . This was very cool and I want to know more of Libera.
I have all CD's and DVD's already ordered and am wondering if there is more. And if you guys can tell more from your own experience with Libera.
These are a few of my favorite songs, but actually it's a too big list to mention
- Time
- Sanctus part II
- Exsultate
- Carol of the Bells
- Still, still, still
and touch the sky

Re: new here
Welcome Niels It's great to find fellow Dutch Libera fans
How did you find out about them?
I'm happy to hear you enjoy Exsultate as well! Still still still is definitely my favourite Libera Christmas song. And Touch the sky is an uncommon choice in lists of favourites but I think it's a special song as well. So you have a great taste
Glad to hear you were at Vallendar. It was a night to remember.

Welcome! I like all of the songs you listed and am glad that you had the chance to see Libera live. I am still waiting for the chance to see them live a second time after their 2014 Washington Concert (the one recorded on DVD) but with your proximity to the UK I think it is a very realistic option for you to do so. Please know that I will be very jealous.
My own experience with Libera started around the time they released "Free" (2004) when I absolutely fell in love with that album and subsequently obtained their prior recordings. It took 10 years to see them live but after I did I was so impressed that I decided to become an active fan here at Libera Dreams.
Since you have all of the CDs and DVDs, you can explore their old "Angel Voices" albums which pre-date when they came to be known as Libera. Instead they were called the St Phillips Boy's Choir at that time. And of course much more information is available at the Libera Timeline maintained by tireless fan Amie.

Re: new here
hello,
@maartendas: there are not many dutch Libera fans i think, can't find a lot.
I was on YouTube looking for classical music and choirs. There I saw a number of them listed.Which song it was I forget.
Vallendar was great. Nice place too and the song list was fantastic.
I was planning to go to London their Christmas concert. Unfortunately there was no more tikets available.
@Surpinto: Thanks for the tip of the St Phillips Boy's Choir. I go looking and listening to it.
The concert at Washington is great! lovely how Thomas Delgado-Little song Ave Maria!
I going look at that site. Thanx!

Hi Niels and a big welcome.
It's always a joy to see more people able to appreciate all of the hard work that Libera has invested over the years.
(Since you seem to have a lot of recordings, I believe they have merchandise to collect also.)
In case you haven't seen it yet, the TV special on them from 2009 is nice.
And the WWI special that they were involved in was well done also.
Cheers!

Welcome to the forum an interesting selection of songs you picked there; A also like Touch against the trend but Exsultate? Honestly?
To get some idea of what other people's experiences I would suggest looking at the concert reviews on the forum under 'Concerts and public appearances' thread - HERE is the thread that contains my first Libera concert review back in 2009. Reading all thoose threads and reviews will keep you quiet for a while!
And finally, on to my traditional welcome for new members:
