Inspired by the current highly interesting discussion about the identity of the other main solo part's singer of Venite Adoremus in the "Hope" thread and also by my own long-term wondering about Voca Me and Ave Verum, I'd like to start this new thread to collect all these questions here and maybe-hopefully find an answer in the one or another case.
Apart from the Venite Adoremus question to be answered, so far I've been wondering about the following:
- Voca Me
Joseph Platt sings the vocalises. For the other parts, Anthony Chadney and Chris Robson are credited. Who sings which one?
- Ave Verum
Vocalises by?
- I am the Day ("Free")
Vocalises by?
- Benedictus Deus
Who sings the low octave from 1:50 onwards?

Re: Unknown soloists in Libera songs
Is Ben C not the soloist on I am the day with Joe Platt high notes?

Re: Unknown soloists in Libera songs
Joe Platt in I am the Day is plausible, however is this just a guess or is it verified?

Thanks for sharing it!! The first time I've seen this video.
And I would like to add to the list: who sings the lower octave at the refrain of Time? There's one in the background...

Pretty sure it's Josh singing the lower octave along with Ben in Time. You can see it in the music video (watch him in the background at 1:09-1:13), and I doubt they would have synced it that way if it wasn't him singing it, since it's not a hugely noticeable part.kinda_k00l wrote: ↑6 years agoThanks for sharing it!! I also think that it's likely to be Josh (as no one else is credited), but to be honest I found the video of 'Time' a bit boring so I didn't look closely. Thank you very much!chris17 wrote: ↑6 years ago Pretty sure it's Josh singing the lower octave along with Ben in Time. Thank you, dani, also in this thread for the according video. You seem to know the whole Libera video collection! So maybe you are predestined to answer my question about Voca Me and Anthony and Chris?
