Libera will be singing a hymn on Songs of Praise next Sunday, 9 March, on the BBC, at 11:30 am UK time

This will be a new recording, filmed at the chapel of Ripon College Cuddesdon, near Oxford.
The hymn choice has yet to be announced.

Yes, very mysterious. Especially since they recorded most of their hymns back in the Angel Voices days. I'm trying to think of any in particular that would go along with the theme of the show but I guess they all could, technically.

For my part, I found ChatGPT's arguments valid and I really like its first suggestion.
Of course, it could be a hymn that hasn't been recorded on an album. Anything is possible

I'm happy with the choice of song and I'm curious to see how they arrange it this time. Having Libera on the show several times in the coming weeks certainly won't hurt the show's tv ratings. I'm hoping these performances will be available on Youtube at some point, or at least somewhere which doesn't require being in the UK to view it.
