Who else got the EMI email leading you to the Opendisc website? They have Ave Virgo, Exsultate, Lacrymosa, and The Fountain.
SPOILERS below! Beware.
Seems like it is Ed Day doing the solo in Ave Virgo. And goodness! His voice makes me weep (in a good way). Ave Virgo is so beautiful.
By the way, the title should be 4 more exclusive tracks. I was confused and I thought it was 2 more aside from O Sanctissima and Time.
***
And it's mini Ben for Exsultate, with a duet with Ed Day I think.
Exsultate sounds like something you might here from the older albums. And I love the low voices!!! We might still see Tom Cully in the album credits after all.
Gah! This album is so magical it seems!
***
I can't figure out who is singing Lacrymosa. It sounds mini-Ben-ish but not! Ed Day? I don't think so. Hmm...Alex? Stefan? Or do I just not recognize mini-Ben's voice because I keep on referring to his original solo? haha
***
Who is doing the solo for The Fountain? Beautiful, beautiful voice. Could it be Ralph Skan? I'm just making a wild guess.haha. But it might be an older boy because he has wonderful control of his low voice. Could it be Ed Day?
***
Anyway, I love how all of the tracks are more than 3 min in length.

Have not received yet, but if Mozart is one of the samples given, I would take it in a heartbeat.

Yes, Ave Virgo is based on the theme from Mozart's clarinet concerto.

haha. Mystery indeed. Try inserting the New Dawn CD into your laptop/PC. The email comes with this tip in case the link doesn't work:
insert an EMI or Virgin Classics/Opendisc CD into your computer and click 'Enter' from within the Opendisc box*.

Indeed. As it stands right now, they've already released 6/13 tracks. Rather weird.

Ok, I think its Mini-Ben doing the solo on Lacrymosa! I am in love with the voice that sings the solo on The Fountain!!! Maybe, Daniel or Alex? I don't think it is a younger boy, because its a very mature sounding voice...
And I can't tell who it is on Ave Virgo... but they sound just like Tom Cully! Maybe Flynn? Or Matthew? Or Jakob? I don't think its Mini-Ben or Ed though...
I think it might be the same person on Ave Virgo and The Fountain but I can't really tell! I'm loving this new album, though!

The Ave Virgo sounds to me suspiciously like Ed Day's more mature voice. It's piercing clear on the high notes and then gets a little husky for the lower registers. It does remind me a little bit of Tom. But I think this is another one of those classic Ed Day songs.

In the past Libera has had "Mini-Sites" with song clips on them... I think that EMI is just promoting them more than they have in the past.
