Right now, I have a very annoying cold and a rough draft of a paper due tomorrow, that I haven't really started yet.... And I'm super tired too. :(

Blimey, that sounds just like me. Here, hold on a moment - I bet it was you that gave me this blinking cold :evil:

Yeah, must have been me. Sorry 'bout that Yorkie! :lol: But I am feeling better today, and the rough draft of the paper is underway!

I'm watching old 80's sitcom episodes on YouTube (Valerie is a particular favourite of mine from back when I was a teenager).

I am sick :| Better than I was yesterday, but I'm still sick.... Tomorrow I have a French test I am not even close to being ready for, and that paper isn't done yet.... Ugh.

That must be some cold you got there. Don't worry about speaking French - nobody of any real importance speaks French :wink:

What's that paper about?

Nahh, I had a cold, but now I have the flu, I think. :roll: I suppose the people of France and quite a bit of Africa aren't of any importance? :lol: Just kidding! The paper is on why Mesopotamia was the first civilization... And I've got it all written except for the conclusion. I just haven't figured out what I'm concluding.... Which makes me think it's probably not a very good paper... :?

Ah, but most of the Quebecois of Canada think that they are the centre of the universe. :wink:

From all that's fair, from all that's foul,
Peals out a cheerful song.'

Oh you are not wrong. Met a few of them in Cuba. They have all the worst faults of the French but with none of the virtues!

Sadly it is an era I know nothing about so you are on your own I'm afraid. Now, if you ever need to know about the history of flat caps in Yorkshire, I'm your man :shock:

You don't know! LOL - well, it is a traditional hat worn (usually by working class men) in the north of England. It's a traditional stereotype that a Yorkshireman wears a flat cap, has a whippet dog, races pigeons and puts ferrets down his trousers (I kid you not).

http://www.hatsandcaps.co.uk/category.a" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... 4wodfk-Jkg

This will make you chuckle - at about 2.10 you see the lad wearing one and then from 2.20 the blokes in the outside toilets are wearing them.

" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This outside dance sequence was filmed in my home town :oops: :shock:

and yes, it is still a $%*& hole :wink:
