Ahh, you have some great time ahead of you my friend, I remember it well. Everybody has there own opinion about what album was the best. Mostly everybody else is wrong
Start with Luminosa or Free. Or Libera is good as is Visions.Angel Voices you can't go wrong with and New Dawn is growing on me. If you need to start with just one then Eternal would do. But don't forget the Angel Voice: Live CD and DVD.
And if anybody tells you any different their wrong I tell you

That was all the albums but, as somebody over here once said, not necessarily in the right order.
I will offer one genuine piece of advice though - I would avoid the three albums that they recorded called Angel Voices 1/2/3 when they were still known at St Phillip's Boy's Choir (not to be confused with Libera's later album called Angel Voices). They are nothing like the Libera style/sound and if money is a consideration you are best starting with the Libera stuff first. But that's just my feelings. But obviously I'm right

They do make a wonderful Christmas collection though.

About the cover for Peace:
While I do really like the cover picture, especially the look of happiness on Kavana's face, someone on Fb pointed something out to me that made me stop and think for a minute.
On Peace, we have five boys on the cover. On New Dawn, nine boys. On Angel Voices, five boys. On Eternal, five boys. Even at nine boys on the cover, that leaves the majority of the boys not on the cover. As someone who was always a backround performer(2nd chair french horn, 2nd soprano bugle, etc.), I always felt left out and hurt when the 'stars' got all the praise and so on. So, I now wonder just how the rest of the boys in the choir feel not being on the front cover? Now, yes, there are group photos on the inside sleeve, with the exception of Eternal but it still is not quite the same. It would be like going up to Josh, asking for his autograph and ignoring the young one with him.
I have always been very careful when emailing the group as a whole, not to single out anyone for any special praise. I don't even send birthday greetings on the chance I would miss one. When I sent the a Christmas card, I mentioned no names at all, just Libera.
I guess what I am saying is, as much as I like the new cover picture, I think a group pic would be a better choice for the front. Or something else, similar to the dove they have used before.
That way, no boy is set above another, solos not withstanding.
A look at all of Trans-Siberian Orchestra/Savatage's covers show no members of the group. Just a group photo inside. All are equal.
Maybe it should be that way with Libera as well.

Hmm.. That's quite true.. Either they squeeze in all or maybe just include those boys who wish to be on the front cover.. You wouldn't know.. some might be too shy to want to appear on the front covers. But I guess it would be much fairer this way too. But I'm sure inside the leaflet (like in new dawn), they will have the whole group picture or every individual boy's picture.
Perhaps, not all boys could be there at the photoshoot so they would rather pick several boys to be on cover than everyone present, because without knowing reasons behind the absence of any individual boy in particular, fans might just speculate that he might have left the group.. so probably to just play it safe to avoid too much of a commotion..
I also raised this question but i can also see the other side of the coin as well . There is no way you can have each boy on the cover it would look a complete mess and horrible . You are looking at about 25 boys after all . It would simply not work . The cover for peace looks arty and totally amazing and it works.
Also its an insult to say some of the boys may be shy as they perorm in front of 3000 people in japan and all over the world . These are not shy little boys . It is just boys will be more photograpic than others and its no more than that.
Also fans love seeing the boys on the cover and its a more personal message than having a dove . So very doubtful they will go back to them cold unpersonal daya.

Good point, it is worrying but perhaps they drew lots or something? That's what I'd do. I take the point about it being difficult to get everybody on the cover but there is no reason why you couldn't get everybody's picture in the liner notes (over several pages). I hope they do.

I could deal with this. Drawing lots to be on the front cover or school grades. I just would hate if they are choosen by looks. Besides always 2nd chair and so on, I am not exactly good looking. Go to my FB page to check out that fact.
