Evensong is still a sunday commitment, though it is Sunday evening. There's also the chance that aaden may not be of the same religion. If you are serious about joining the choir at St. Philip's, an option is if there is a vigil service/mass at your church (saturday evening), that may be a decent compromise with your parents. If not, I second what you said earlier, to have patience until you are older.
