Two years ago conversations like this wouldn't have existed, so it testament to how far Libera have come, that fans are eager to know more about their next concerts.
I noticed Libera have posted a message on their facebook, encouraging japanese fans to promote their two concerts in Toyko. They still have plenty of tickets left. I hope it's not because the ticket prices are too expensive. I think they range from £35.00-£55.00 for tickets.

(sorry for this off-topic....
)
Being early in the queue for the concert is not only to prevent the possible arrival of three full coachs of japanese fans (:lol:) before your own arrival.
Being early in the queue almost garanties you a first row seat, which is very important, but it allows you to live full of interesting moments
you can welcome Andy Winter when he arrives with the truck and the guys to begin the technical installation, you can come in the church during all morning, usually the gates only closes at 2 ou 3 PM,
and with a little luck you can see a few libera members arriving also early, like in Arundel 2009, in a very decontract context because there is very few people around
I'll show you some nice photos next time we meet (... if you also come early
)
Speaking about luck, in Edinburgh we were (Chris, George, Fred and myself) having a little drink in the "camino café" just next the cathedral, when all Libera boys and staff came in to have their lunch, so we spent one hour seated at less than two meters of them
(no pictures were taken of course).
Libera concert are very rare. You hardly can see more than 1 ou 2 a year, if everything goes positive. It's not like going to see a movie at a cinema.
So planning to arrive just a little time before gates opens, Ok it save you a few hours for your own, and it can save a night in an hotel, but this expose yourself to big disappointment like any transport problem that will make you late, or more crowd than expected that will make you seat far from the scene, and you will for sure miss any particular moment that can occur during the concert preparation
In addition, being early on site allows you to more discuss with other fans, even if their english habilities are weak
and they need time to express

I'm looking closely to the sales of Japanese Tickets.JimmyRiddle wrote:I noticed Libera have posted a message on their facebook, encouraging japanese fans to promote their two concerts in Toyko. Yesterday at same time that now, about %20 seats for the 8/04 concert, and 8% for the 9/04 concert were available.
(more numbers can be seen on arrays in the french forum)
Sales were very good during the first tickets selling period in January, but then it slowed down... for the last 3 weeks, the sales progression is about +1% per week...
I hope they will manage a few TV appearance before the concerts, so the last seats could be sold in no time

Ah, thanks. It's not too bad then. The Friday night gig should easily sell out, and with a bit of luck the Thursday one should too. Time are hard, and the Japanese fans pay more than anywere else to see Libera. So you have to admire them for their continued support.fan_de_LoK wrote:I'm looking closely to the sales of Japanese Tickets.

Less than Php1000? I can't believe it but yes, it'll probably a small scale event since it's a bit too sudden! I am soooo excited right now!chix wrote:Patience my dears. It's already April 1st next Thursday and if they're coming on the week of April 12th, that gives us less than two weeks!
Since i wasnt allowed to delete the previous post...um....yea.....hopefully the details come out very very soon for all those who will be able to make it!A friend of mine knows someone working in the Brit Embassy and she told me something... the ticket price wouldn't cost more than 1000Php. That's around 21Usd and 15Gbp.
@Irishoreo, You're not going to push through the Philippines?

I would try and push through but a medical issue has come up in my family and my mother has taken a turn for the worse(she has been extremely ill the past few months) and it's not looking good. So I now have to take that into consideration, plus i forgot that I do not have my passport and getting a passport in America takes ages -.-

Ain't that the truth.haha. God, I miss home.JoelinMkt wrote: It's the Filipino hospitality I guess... You know how our culture works. Their itinerary would be sing, sign autographs, be entertained 24/7 and get stuffed full of food...
Anyone that visits family or friends in the Philippines probably won't do the singing and signing but the entertainment and the eating is not negotiable...
I read in a news article that Manila Cathedral has a 2000-seating capacity. But the parking will probably be an issue if they go there, so most probably not. How about other churches in Manila? You've got a lot of big, beautiful churches there.

Maybe, it is because it's a week day. And yeah, I agree to, TV or even radio appearance and/or promotion might be a trick for a sold out concert.fan_de_LoK wrote:I'm looking closely to the sales of Japanese Tickets.

Thank you very much Jimmy !!
!
- one meet and greet on 14/04
- two concerts on the same day 16/04 (
)
- signings sessions after each concert... they will be exhausted !
I hope they will still have free days for nice resort there
It's interessing, they say : "april" and "summer promo tour"
April is not in summer, it's spring....
is this meanning that the 16/04 shows are not full concert but just a promotionnal tour, and after that they will turn back in Philippins during the summer ?

Hi Yorkie, the summer season in the Philippines is April and May, although with the condition there now, it could be a whole year of summer.

Oh and April 16...Techinically, I might be free to hop on a plane on the 16th...but I wonder if it'll be worth all the trouble. Not that Libera isn't worth it. Just that it's too much travel for me and most probably expensive, too. Hmm...

gah!!! They'll be performing Time. I wanna hear that live! Sigh...why is my schedule always clashing with theirs.
Oh, and them tickets are gonna sell like hotcakes. The auditorium only seats 450. So I suppose this is really just a promotional tour.
You can find the seat plan here: http://www.rcbcplaza.com.ph/auditorium.aspx
It's a pretty cozy venue.

As for the Meet and Greet, I wonder how they'll set it up for a big crowd. It's fair to expect a big crowd this time considering that they actually announced this one online. The last one was pretty hush-hush. The Atrium where they had the M&G last year was a rather small space. And you've got shops on both sides, too.
Probably, like last time, they're going to ask for people to buy the new album for an opportunity to meet and greet the boys.

Five concerts, 3 countries, and probably 5+ autograph signings (if they do them after every concert and at the Podium.) In 8 days.
Easter is April 4th, though, so they won't actually be touring on Easter, it seems...
Still, arriving 11 hours before the start of the concert is the highest form of dedicationfan_de_LoK wrote:(sorry for this off-topic....)

I was nearly in time to join you and the boys in the café for lunch - they were just leaving as I arrived. I was so busy looking up that I nearly walked right over the top of one of them (and I'm packing a few pounds so the poor little fellow would have been hospitalised had I not realised just in time). The look on the faces of the lads on the bus was a treat. I just pretended I had no idea who they were and continued to walk up the hill to the shopping mall (before sneaking back down when they had gone). It was still early so I went to the pub for some medication and a drop of lunch.
