Not sure why Andy Winter felt he needed to open up any communication with this clearly egotistical individual who has shown a distinct lack of civility so far with his behaviour.

we never had serious talks there at the chatbox. then someone (was it me?) thought about the idea of calling the boys names - and this was just IN THE SPIRIT OF FUN.... there was nothing to talk about anymore. we all loved and appreciated their music so now it was time to go to more crazy talks - we called tom "autistic", josh "juicy" but i referred to him as josh "bading", we imagined him and tom to be gays, hah hah

One can only hope that I might acquire this level of intelligence and stability when I reach 51.

Actually,
Andy contacted the person at my request. I had suggested to both Andy and Thelma that maybe some personal contact between the two of them would settle this matter and it has.
As Whitetail has said, both parties have settled the issue and it is dead.

Andy has stated that he didn't swear at the guy. The supposed words that he was alleged to have said were not the type of thing a native English speaker would say (i.e. the grammar was incorrect). I don't believe Andy Winter did swear at the guy.

I also think the guy was manipulative and exploiting the boys. Now a few Filipino's seem to have been whipped in to a frenzy by Chukkoi and were implying that the entire country had been insulted. Utter rubbish.

Thankfully the many Filipino Libera fans who are active and valuable members of this forum are far too wise to fall for that.

I'm really glad this dispute between them is over and the topic has somewhat come a closure, but I'm sorry to say I've lost a lot of respect for certain fans.

Well, some fans are volatile, and with the internet these days, it's difficult sometimes to think before you post, although you can certainly hit 'delete'!

That blogger must be a close friend of that YT user. She's the same woman who implied Tom as "unfriendly" with fans and when I asked her why she thought so, she pointed me to that YT user's video of the post PICC autograph signing. When I viewed the video, it turned out that his comment to Tom was a bit awkward. It was a spontaneous comment and I don't believe it was malicious or anything, but it was an awkward comment about Tom singing a lot of solos in the past. Unlike that blogger's conclusion, I don't believe Tom's reaction was a sign of unfriendliness. On the contrary, Tom smiled and was gracious about it.

But her twisted way of thinking things out aside (she's entitled to her own opinion), I'm glad she became an instrument of closing this issue. My opinion of this certain YT user, though, remains the same.

I saw the same video phlibera and your right, there was nothing Tom did that came across as unfriendly. Mitch Young Ltd put an awkward question to him, and he handled it very well as you said. Tom was even more friendly and engaging to him in the meet and greet held after the PICC concert.

Anyway I've got my misgivings about certain individuals out there, but I'll say no more on the subject.

On an more positive note relating to Libera in the Philiippines, this is an interesting blog by a man who gained surprise access to the Libera concert and how he came to view it from a rather unusual vantage point

The formations are also really smooth. Especially the one where the boys formed half of a circle- perfect !

Much easier to see it from his viewpoint. A pity that a lot of his pictures om M&G are blurry.

#6 - Sanctissima. Ben is in the front row (kneeling), 6th from the left.

#7 - Exsultate

#8 - No idea which song this was. Probably Deep Peace?

#9 - How Shall I Sing That Majesty. I think the two in front were Stefan (left) and Jakob (right).

#10 and #11 - Bayan Ko. In #11, near lower-right corner of the photo, Robert Prizeman is walking up the stage and about to take a bow with Steven G. and Libera.

#12 - I think Luke has just drawn a smiley on the table cloth.

#13 - Freddie's right arm is all over Daniel.

Let me share this new video from Youtube user Cayleb101. I think she's a member of this forum, too. The photos and videos are from the autograph signing sessions at The Podium and at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium after the shows.

Great idea of showing the members' picture, name, and autograph at the end of the video. A great idea to acquaint new fans to who are the current members of Libera, at least the ones who performed at Japan, Korea, and the Philippines last April.
