The Sydney opera house would be fun...I'd love to visit Australia sometime. Likewise, I'd welcome a good excuse to see a show at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago.
Closer to (my) home, I'd vote for the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, which has magnificent acoustics. There's also an impressive organ there, although I am under the impression it's not been playable for a few years. Frankly, I was a bit surprised they chose to sing at the Egg in Albany over the TSB Music Hall, but I'm sure there were good reasons for doing what they did. The lighting and similar technical systems at the Egg are far more advanced, which might be part of the reason, or there could possibly have been scheduling or other more mundane constraints.
