Yep no physical cd available of this. It makes sense as its cheaper to produce.paul30003 wrote:I must add this CD to my collection

Stefans voice sounds amazing on Benedictus Deus

I'm about to cave and buy the whole album... All the music is gorgeous! Even from the short preview Stefan sounds amazing! It sounds to me like Ralph is the second soloist...dani wrote:Yep no physical cd available of this. It makes sense as its cheaper to produce.paul30003 wrote:I must add this CD to my collection

Stefans voice sounds amazing on Benedictus Deus, it will be interesting to know if he gets any more solos when you guys listen to it.
Jimmy, you are amazing, how do you do it? Am downloading now and then I'm going to retire to my bed for the evening with last of the papers and a couple of fingers of rum to listen to my purchase.
They may have stolen an hour from me, but I get some new Libera singing to listen to. Two new tracks in as many weeks. Bliss

Cheers Yorkie. I just go looking for things when I'm bored lolYorkie wrote:Jimmy, you are amazing, how do you do it? Am downloading now and then I'm going to retire to my bed for the evening with last of the papers and a couple of fingers of rum to listen to my purchase.

A lot of the times it can be frustrating, but you find a few ripe fruits along the way.
Yep, just had my bath and now i'm going to chill out and listen to all the album in full. There's some good orchestral pieces in there too. Mark McKenzie is a highly thought of composer but seems content to stay out of the limelight. Sounds like someone else we know who directs Libera lol

Yes, the only thing wrong with Benedictus Deus is it's too short!!! Love it.

Not quite at the end but don't think so. Offerings is interesting but is Libera trademark harmonies against the instrumentation. They do some ooohhhhs and ahhhhs on other tracks but probably not enough for you to buy to just hear Libera.dani wrote:Are there anymore solos for any of the boys apart from Benedictus?Yorkie wrote:A beautiful soundtrack it has to be said. Benedictus Deus was all you guys promised - do not hesitate to download everybody.
Stefan and Ralph knock it out of the ball park. Really liked Offerings too.
On the last track now.
#edit# no, Benedictus Deus is the only one. correction: they do sing {I think it is they} on Offerings, but not distinctive, it is a chant above rather powerful instrumentation - starts off with a rising crescendo of ohh's and then gets in to some Latin chant.
It's also worth a punt for £0.69 - not the end of the world if you don't like it.
