Agreed. Thanks to both John and Rach!
My favorite part of this forum is reading people's impressions of the
concerts they attend.

Re: New Philippines tour announced
1000 Cebuans and sundry visitors filled the Chapel of San Pedro Calungsod to capacity for Libera’s concert here tonight. They were not disappointed.
Program was the same as in Manila so no lengthy description – just want to point out a few errors and omissions in my previous scribbling.
1.Forgot to mention Ciaran’s excellent solo in Dies Irae. 2. Tom’s high notes were in the Gloria part of “Angels we have heard...†not in Gloria itself. 3. Piano accompaniment for “Hymn to Mary†was by Steven, not Josh. (Appreciated this one much more on its second hearing. It will probably be a favourite after the third.) 4. The beautiful “Ah, Ahs†from Tom and Lucas in "Carol of the Bells" should have been mentioned 5. I believe I was mistaken in saying that Sam delivered one of the speeches in Manila (there was none from him tonight).
Five mistakes – not bad for an old geezer.

Thanks John!
I haven't found near as much info being posted about the Cebu concert, so it's especially nice to get a
report on that one.

Re: New Philippines tour announced
Already tonight, Sunday, the Philippines blog is up on the Libera site. Must be the fastest blog ever!
Furthermore, could somebody please post a good scan of the programm with the faces of the boys on it, so I can learn them again before London. Also if somebody has located the poster for the London concert I would be grateful if you could indicate where to find it.

Hi Johan,
I haven't seen scans of the Filippino program, but Lexi's blog does
have pictures with identification of all who particpated.
It was posted up on October 26th.

Yorkie, that photo reminds me of the lyrics of "Love and Mercy" - "I was standing in a bar and watching all the people there".

Re: New Philippines tour announced
A news article on Ramon de Ocampo (son of Roberto “Bobby†de Ocampo) also refers to a little snippet about Libera;
... wonder what (if anything) will be on Libera's itinerary for this autumn?Chairman de Ocampo is responsible for bringing Libera, a boys’ choir in the country for concert shows. He is also an album producer. He leaves this month for the US to attend to Libera’s commitments. In October, 2015, the choir returns to the Philippines for performances inManila and Cebu

Re: New Philippines tour announced
I talked with Roberto de Ocampo in Washington DC. He told me that it is his intent to bring Libera back to the
Philippines in 2015 so that information is on the mark.
I don't have any direct info, but I'm thinking it will be the North America for autumn if funds allow.
