Might simply be a mistype but just in case, 'second to none' actually implies it's the very best!

Should his (her?) voice be used to blatantly dub over Libera soloists while the video, orchestration and original choir sound remains intact? The “If” sacrilegious effort has been removed ( I hope because I suggested it should be) but Michael Horncastle singing “Far Way” with an alien voice remains. There are probably more desecrations but I did not check them all.

I see IF still listed on YT. :( Well, even if I personally do not like it, I must admit he found a way to express his admiration for Libera and share it with whomever wants to hear it

Back to topic: Right now I'm listening to Three Ravens thinking about which concert DVD I might watch later to start the weekend :)

About If, I replied in the Covers thread where the discussion started. :)

Right now I'm melting in the heat, having somehow chosen to live in a location that this month was the wettest location in the country, and today is currently the hottest location in the whole of the UK at over 31c. Sigh.

Still, got first night of the Proms to look forward to at least.

I had absolutely no idea they even had branches of that in the UK! :o Can't say it's a venue I would particularly gravitate towards, (Having googled it, I'd much rather a Wetherspoons) but enjoy your beer!

Do you remember when a certain Libera promoter planned " for it to be played, Muzak style, in a number of US retail stores and fast food chains including Subway, Walmart, Sprint, Cold Stone, KFC, Taco Bell, McDonald's, Staples, Best Buy, Hooters and more." referring to "Santa Will Find You". Fortunately (IMHO) the plan never came to fruition.
