To keep this thread on topic, fans should be aware that there is (according to the cathedral schedule) choral evensong at 4:15 on Saturday. It'll likely last an hour at least.

Oh wow! Are you coming to Lincoln? If you are please do make yourself known somehow. Would love to say hello!Cat-a-tonic wrote: 8 months ago Just got back from my first ever Libera concert. Will try to post a review or some more detailed thoughts soon but for now all I can say is Wow!!!! And that I'm so happy I finally got to see them live.
You're welcome!Padmachou wrote: 8 months ago Thank you for you reviews ! Last month's concert was already great so it must have been extraordinary if they were even better![]()
Were the miniboys on stage ? Some of them maybe ? I read somewhere that Archie was identified, since he made a speech ?

That does seem to be the case! No pressure on them of course.Luckdragon wrote: 8 months ago Thanks for the prompt reviews. One nice thing about multiple iterations of the same concert by boys that age is they inevitably get better each time. Hopefully, Lincoln will be the best yet!

Edit: I did forget someone amazing! I finally met the infamous (notorious?) Suprinto finally. I wasn't disappointed.![]()
Oh no!Surpinto wrote: 8 months ago Unfortunately, I got hit with a strange bout of insomnia and have been unable to sleep at all. I've never experienced anything like it in my entire life as I don't have insomnia whatsoever, so the only reason I can think of is some kind of 2nd round of jet lag as I slept perfectly fine the night before the show and seemed to have acclimated enough to UK time.
I was even rather tired last night but my body just wouldn't fall asleep, and I wish I could say it was the excitement of the concert but that wasn't it. Needless to say I was in no condition to join the scenic bus tour through Wales that I had planned.

Hope to see you in Lincoln if you decide to go, but don't force yourself if it's too crazy. Ideally you would add on to whatever notes I happen to take about that show.Citlec wrote: 8 months ago
Oh no!Maybe a bout of sympathy insomnia, for my also sleepless night?

I collapsed into bed at 7am and managed a 4hour sleep then. But I would say I'm still feeling like death warmed-up, currently.
I'm sad for you that you missed the Wales Trip. North Wales has some fantastic scenery and some lovely things to see (and I swear I'm not just saying that because of my familial connection...)
Hope you get your sleep patterns back on track and enjoy the rest of your trip.
Despite the machinations of sundry people to persuade me, my attendance at Lincoln is currently unlikely. But, never say never! If I don't make it then I hope everyone has a fantastic time, I have no doubt it will be an amazing concert again.
