Well, this one will be quickly forgotten. It's not a bad arrangement and I do listen to it sometimes, but why are none of the four original compositions by former Libera members getting a music video? If not those, then maybe a video for "Going Home". They already did one music video of a song related to birds.

"Quickly forgotten"? I beg to differ. This is an excellent piece which features one of their best soloists at the current time. Being a choral arrangement of a Liszt piece certainly helps as well.

It could also be an artistic decision because some songs are less conducive to a music video than others, not for musical reasons, but because there has to be some sort of storyline that can be woven in.

Though I must disagree with you about the song - I love it - and I'm glad they're making a music video for it. But that's my own personal preference, of course!

As much as I like his voice, I don't think it will happen with this song or album. I wouldn't be surprised if it happened in the next album when he should be at his peak as a treble singer. The phrase I would use regarding his voice on this album is, "If you thought that was good, you ain't seen nothing yet!"

Inclined to agree on the song atm. I’ve fallen in love with Joseph’s voice on this album, he has improved exponentially in the past year and has really come into his own as a soloist, but this particular song just feels a little…flat to me. That is no criticism of Joseph’s voice at all, he nailed it. It’s just this track…might need a few more listens. I warm up to most Libera tracks eventually.

Also the video - yet another one in the same/similar location as the first two. I realise they may lack the funds to produce the kinds of videos they were filming a decade ago, but there are many places they could film at no cost just for a bit of variety.

I don't recall in the history of the choir and their music videos them ever doing a pencil sketch animation as a part of the video. In this case I think it fit perfectly well into the song and the theme. I especially like when they have the man sitting at the edge of the cliff side who then turns into a bird and flies off. It just goes so well with the theme of the song and the animation enhances it!

While the boys did not have to act out a story arc the way that he did in "One Small Voice", the beautiful English countryside is the perfect backdrop for this song and the theme they're trying to convey.

What are everyone else's opinions on the video?

A rather sedate video, but pleasant. Getting a lark in there through animations was a nice touch. I was amazed at how similar the story was to the Kirk and Spock video that just went viral. It's so strange how they converged days apart from such wildly different directions. I'm gobsmacked.

Perhaps my favourite music video for 'Dream' so far. The cinematography is spot on - the colours are dreamy, lush and emotionally evocative. I love the addition of the animation throughout the video, which gives a visual representation of the meaning of the song. I think it was particularly poignant at the end when the animated birds materialized in Libera's reality, as if to suggest that perhaps what Libera sang about was not just some sort of fantasy, but had actual physical meaning and the boys believed in it. The singing is impeccable as always and Joseph is a phenomenon. A homerun in my books.

I will give Libera credit for trying something different with this video, and I do also like how the 'imaginary' world of the animator seems to cross into the real world near the end (and vice versa). However, the video for "Seabird" is still my favorite so far.

Wow, I didn't expect to feel so somber after this video. I was touched by the old man flying off with his long lost love at the end, kind of like crying at the beginning of Up. The animation was a new touch and fitting to portray a lifetime of longing that would be hard for boys to reenact. I like that the video is static, like the boys are a respectful sentinel as their grandparents are entering a transitional season of life. The countryside is beautiful and peaceful.
I like the lyrics. I really thought it was a old poem. Not being an English lit expert, but if there was a contest to write in the style of say, Keats, I think Josh should submit this song. It's very eloquent and a touching tribute to life.
Musically, I enjoy this song as it is a classical piece. Whether it'll be my favorite song, I'm still waiting for my CD to arrive so I can absorb all in one setting. I think it'll be hard to pick just one with this set.

I also found this very touching and surprising. I actually thought at the start I'd clicked on the wrong video because I'd expected we'd start the video with the boys on the heath. But it worked well and was nicely interwoven with the singing.

Joseph sings with such passion and conviction here - it's amazing. As do many of the other boys - Julian's smile towards the end is absolutely heart-melting.

I was surprised like you all about the "anime" part, and really liked it. I think I understand the song better and somehow it sounds so hopefully and relaxing despite talking of death at the same time. This video and Seabird both make links between worlds and arts. I love it.
Joseph's work is incredible in this song.
