Re: Young Chorister of the Year
It's a farce now, the BBC have ruined it. Every cathedral and collegiate choir in the country and plenty of school and other church choirs contain multiple choristers who can sing better than the contestants on this show.

Re: Young Chorister of the Year
You mean you don't want to listen to a chorister singing "On Eagle's Wings" by Michael Joncas? I've never really been a follower of this program, but it seems that they are allowing choristers to stray from true Classical singing in some cases. The one who won in 2022 (the year Luca was involved) sang in a style that didn't even sound like a traditional chorister. It's like they've decided to cross the original concept of the show with "The Voice".j8000 wrote: 3 months ago It's a farce now, the BBC have ruined it. I agree with some criticisms. But I still enjoy watching the show and even with a VPN I can't fool the BBC to believe I truly am in the UK

I won't watch it until they go back to having separate girl & boy categories. It's completely corrupted now in my view.fugalharmony wrote: 3 months agoYou mean you don't want to listen to a chorister singing "On Eagle's Wings" by Michael Joncas?
