This is something I've done in the past on my FB page that went over well...
I'll post a picture and a "clue" (sometimes useful, mostly worthless )--first person to guess what it is and where it's located, wins that round--and we'll keep score (somehow) and have a "winner" after a month or so...I'll get you a track or CD on iTunes, let's say
So, we'll start easy--
Around the World I:
Clue:
"I cross a river named for a legendary Hun, who drowned here while trying to invade lands north."
St. Thomas Church in Leipzig, also known as The Thomaskirche in Leipzig, Germany.

'Let me go where'er I will,
I hear a sky-born music still:
It sounds from all things old,
It sounds from all things young,
From all that's fair, from all that's foul,
Peals out a cheerful song.'

Clue:
My walls are a glorious storm of light, from the Beginning to the End.
Is this one just for me? I have to say it looks better now with the stonework cleaned up. The main window in the picture is known as the heart of Yorkshire (assuming I haven't got the wrong building ).
York Minster.
The glass in Great West Window (the one in the photo which has the heart shaped stonework) was painted in 1338.
If I’ve got owt to say I says it, and if I’ve got owt to ask I asks it.

I am one of the oldest churches in the Americas, dedicated to both a great healer and a 'beautiful prairie'.

You see,I always took a prairie to be tree free, sort of open fields. I'm trying to remember the setting for Little House on the Prairie from sooooo long ago
So a prairie can be forest can it?
