Autumn Tour
Looking forward to Libera's Tour of Asia in October, wonder what other country they will be visitng beside the Philippines. I wish Ed will get his signature piece and perform during the Autumn Tour, seems that he is at his top form right now.

Peals out a cheerful song.'

i really hope they visit Singapore, because a lot of fans from there have been waiting for a concert for the longest time.
also, i agree with you that Ed totally needs his signature song. Josh has Secret, Mini-Ben has The Lamb, Liam has Sancte, but Ed doesn't have one yet. D:
and, and, i hope Tom's still singing by October, so that the Filipinos will at least have a chance to see him live.

Yes!!Hope Tom will still sing in Oct, so that ppl from Asia like me, can at least have a chance to see him live (missed the Japan/Korea Tour before), no matter where he stands and how his voice sounds like.hyphus27 wrote:i really hope they visit Singapore, because a lot of fans from there have been waiting for a concert for the longest time.also, i agree with you that Ed totally needs his signature song. I would have agreed with you until Tuesday, but Ed (for me) will be Mysterium - I just hope it gets recorded though!hyphus27 wrote:i really hope they visit Singapore, because a lot of fans from there have been waiting for a concert for the longest time.also, i agree with you that Ed totally needs his signature song. nothing wrong with that, i just find it so childish and personally dont like it but i adore Sakura and had listened to it on my iphone over 100 times and yet that also unpopular. So each to there own ::)Yorkie wrote:Ben's Secret in Edinburgh was good (actually it was better than good), but as I've said before I'm one of those who really like The Lamb - guess I like the more quirky odd ball stuff
It does seem like people either really like or really dislike Mini-Ben's song, "The Lamb." I think that other members of this forum have said that RP arranged "The Lamb" especially with Mini-Ben's voice in mind, so I think it is like his signature song. Maybe if he sang it on tour people would think of it that way? Before Mini-Ben did "The Lamb" solo I always thought of his signature song to be "Lacrymosa" from their 2007 concerts, just like Josh with "Secret", Michael H. with "Far Away", Liam with "Sancte", Tom with "Always With You", etc. I think Ed's could be "Mysterium" since it seems to have gotten lots of attention, either that or "When a Knight" since he's done that solo since 2007 in many concerts.

Childish? Oh, I'm not so sure. I interpret the words to be an allegory. It isn't really about a boy and a lamb. It is about God (or, more accurately Jesus Christ) and his flock (us for those of you who are believers). Now I might be wrong but I think the childish song is only one very simple message overlaying a deeper more adult theme.dani wrote:nothing wrong with that, i just find it so childish and personally dont like it but i adore Sakura and had listened to it on my iphone over 100 times and yet that also unpopular. Of course, I could be spouting complete bollocks

I think you're right, Yorkie. The song is innocent and simple, like little children (and I mean simple as in less complicated, more trusting, and willing to believe in others) and Mini-Ben's gentle, innocent and clear voice is perfect for the song.Yorkie wrote:Childish? Steady on, any more of this and everybody else will think we're an item or that you are actually part of my split personality

Hahaha, I am beginning to wonder. Don't know if we can handle two Yorkies in one forum.
Agree with Plumpuff6, you can really hear the child-like simplicity in the Lamb with MiniBen as the soloist.

Sorry, sorry, it's just that I really like Libera's music and enjoy being able to "talk" about it with other people that also like their music.Yorkie wrote:

well i like talking here as none of my family like the music... i cant talk about them in front of my dad with out a snide comment and my mum puts up with them (i think she likes them really but doesnt want to show it
) and my brother well he is a typical 20 year old who if it isnt rock it doesnt count lol

When you miss me just look up to the night sky and remember, I'm like a star; sometimes you can't see me, but I'm always there.
