Yup :D I hope its something new, but it probably won't be. It says on the Songs of Praise website:

"A celebration of some of the fantastic young musicians who have appeared on Songs of Praise during the last year, including the choristers of St George's Chapel in Windsor and a teenage composer of sacred music.

Plus, there are some fantastic hymns from the finalists of the school choirs competition and a special performance from singer Rhydian."

I had not seen that new video taken at trafalgar square as I am not a regular viewer of SoP. It was very enjoyable. The last time i was at Trafalgar Square was a beautiful summer day last year, and in fact it was while on my way to the QEH to see my first Libera concert!

Back to the original topic of the post, I very much enjoyed the songs of praise special. Yes It was a pain when they kept cutting the songs, but in the time they have, it was better to feature the interviews with the boys and the people around them that they did rather than give us a while half hour of Libera songs.

Hopefully all the shortened songs in the SoP special, will be shown in their full at later dates. You never know, next week could be one of those dates. Some say it might be the 'Sanctus' but I'd love the full version of 'Sancte' - if there is indeed one.

Back on form with 'Sanctus' then

The ever popular 'Which is your favourite version of Sanctus?' debate, will get another contender come Sunday evening lol

Just aired. Quite disapointed as it was exactly the same as the SOP speciel that aired in Jan, it was not an extended version. It ran for just over the mintue.

hmmm i didnt expect it to be another video/song from them as it hasnt even been advertised on their official website but i thought they might of added alittle more to the video or maybe a talk with a few of the boys :\
When you miss me just look up to the night sky and remember, I'm like a star; sometimes you can't see me, but I'm always there.

I'm not sure who you feel is letting you down. It's not like Libera can call up SoP and say "Hey, we have a new album, how about you spend the money to produce a brand new video of us?"

And from Songs of Praise's standpoint, I suspect Libera isn't "drop everything and show clips of them" sort of priority.

Indeed, the showing of an old video, and if we're lucky a mention that there is a new album in stores, is exactly what Libera could hope for.
