OK hear me out. What adverts do you think are just great or are remembered in your country as classics? Here in the UK we think we have some pretty clever adverts.

I'll start the ball rolling with a few from Britain and you guys chip in - I want to see what your t.v. ads are like (this will be tough for you folks from the US because as far as I can tell most of you adverts are for haemorrhoids (British spelling, we like adding extra letters), erectile dysfunction or thrush ).

hehe i dont think this advert was shown very much outside of germany but it still gets me every time

if you have a weak heart, or are a very jumpy person then i wouldnt watch this advert, or i would have the sound turned off

Clever ads here in the US seem to have become extinct. Even the much anticipated ads that run during the Super Bowl game have been disappointing recently.

I used to love those PG tips ads ... they were always great.

From my childhood all the way through adulthood; we have had a series of really great Guinness ads, like the one below:

I've seen that scary car add before - it always works. Guinness have had a lot of good adds (we got the hurling one over here too). This is one of the best Guinness adds in a recent poll

Usually during lectures, our lecturers would show us some ads, and I really like those Budweiser ads, and Thai ads are pretty funny too.
