Well, tough luck for me. I was born and raised in the Philippines (not in Manila). But I'm currently studying in Singapore. I'm still thinking if I should buy now or wait until Libera announces all their concerts in this region. Money + scheduling conflicts are stalling my decision making.

That's always a tough choice.... I'd hold out a little longer if I were you. I am sure that they wouldn't travel all that way for just 1 concert.carina_gino20 wrote:Well, tough luck for me. Yep you have to be right, financially they could not go all that way for one concert. To even break even they will have to do at least 3 and im betting more like 4-5 . Its not like they are just flying off to France

I agree, it would be highly unusual for just one concert unless somebody was covering most of the cost (EMI?). I'd probably wait and see as well (or buy a cheap ticket just in case to cover myself).dani wrote:Jude Andrew wrote:

Words spreading http://mb.com.ph/articles/217879/libera" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... ert-manila

Aint' that the truth! With their mystical chords and ecstatic harmonies (often performed in Latin), Libera is unlike any other “boy band†in the music scene nowadays.

Interesting comment in that article
"The concert is in lieu of promoting their PolyEast Records releases “Eternal: The Best of Libera,†a two-CD Greatest Hits Collection, and “Angel Voices – Libera Live in Concert†on DVD"
PolyEast records releases???

Interesting....

I hope so. And I hope they won't just keep it to the Philippines, but also go to other countries nearby like Singapore. Although I'm actually thinking that if they choose to do more than just a couple of concerts in the Philippines, they could easily breakeven. Not good for me.Jude Andrew wrote:

I don't like the sound of this: "Libera Philippine promo tour". (from the article) It sounds like they might just stay there. I hope not.

Oh cool. I was born in Cebu. But was raised in Singapore since 2. I still am studying here. I really wish they'd come here. If they don't need a very big place, they can probably perform in the Drama Centre at the National Library. I hope they announce their other venues too and hopefully, Singapore would be one of them.carina_gino20 wrote:Well, tough luck for me. I was born and raised in the Philippines (not in Manila). Nope. I can understand though. I grew up here and I'm more exposed to English than Cebuano. Sometimes my parents converse with me in Cebuano, but I reply in English. Most of the time they talk to me in English though. My parents however communicate in Cebuano and sometimes Tagalog to themselves or their friends. I've 2 really good friends who are Filipinos. The female can speak tagalog very well. And the male is just like me; can't speak Bisaya for nuts.carina_gino20 wrote: Yeah, it's already end of August! I'd really wanna speak Cebuano because when I go back for a visit, my cousins try their utmost best to converse in English and sometimes I can't comprehend what they're trying to say. Not to mention my parents won't allow me to talk when I'm in public because I can only speak English and I've the Singaporean accent even though I try to sound more Cebuano-ish. The idea of people knowing you're not local there's perilous. Haha, I suppose you already know that.carina_gino20 wrote:Haha. I figured as much.
