O Beata sounds the most promising to my ears. But I am biased as I love the track.

Angel Gabriel sounded like it was on double speed?

Did anybody catch new vocals on these tracks?

I'm currently a little drunk but what is going on with Angel Gabriel? That has to be a playback speed issue surely!

I like The Angel Gabriel, it made me smile, sounds funny and the end of the snippet makes me want to hear more. While I have problems with At Sea: That quick back and forth sound is not good for my ears and later on that hammering sound ...

I'm not sure I'll completely love the final version, but I'm curious to discover the album!

Libera is really offer us a lot of présent this end of the year. All that's missing is the release of a live DVD/BlueRay of a concert and I'll be completely satisfied for a moment!!

It reminds me of a recent remix of "Vois sur ton Chemin - du film Les choristes "

Well, I can't deny that the funky beat and distortions make "The Angel Gabriel" entertaining. It could be considered slightly sacrilegious, so don't be playing it to your deeply religious grandma. The "Carol of the Bells" remix is probably my initial favorite because it takes the tension and drama of the original and does some interesting things with them. I need to listen all the way through "Be Still my Soul" before offering an opinion.

I just listened to the remix and I must say it's quite interesting in a good way. Very modern. Likely to put Libera in front of a more modern audience. I can also hear the different styles of Josh and Liam in the mixes. O Beata is just as enjoyable as Carol of the Bells and they certainly put a lot of work into these songs. More interestingly, I find myself trying to figure out which song they are sampling from. I think I hear Victor W in one of the songs.

Most impressive of all is the At Sea remix. It's a reminder of how good Freddie's voice was and I wish there were more solos of him from that time. I did get a chance to meet Freddie at a US concert and I told him his voice is incredible. That was after his Ave Verum solo but before I knew that was his solo on At Sea.

Libera is on a roll these days!

For those who wish to own rather than stream their music the album is available as an MP3 purchase from Amazon (I won't provide a link because the URL is country specific, but if you just search for "Libera Remixes" you should find it with no difficulty in your country).

It is also available in 24 bit at HDTracks, and on qobuz which usually gives you the album in 16 bit FLAC but at a significantly lower and more reasonable price point than HDTracks. Unless you're some sort of super audio enthusiast, there's never really a good reason to purchase 24 bit – the only exception being if the sole alternative is a low quality MP3.

To download on qobuz search for "Libera" in their download store (each country has its own unique URL) and then select Libera as the artist. Do not search for the album name! Then you will see three pages or so of albums, go all the way to the last page and it should be there somewhere. Their search function is awful but the prices are reasonable. 8)

Hmmmmmm, huh?!?!?, sorry but old dog here (woof, woof) and not crazy about the new tricks. While I applaud that they are thinking outside the box and doing modern tech stuff, I wouldn't play this to convert my friends to Libera. I don't want the distractions from the beautiful harmonies that I love and they would be confuzzled by the mixed genres. It could appeal to new, younger fans.
At Sea- nice to appeal to the disco aficionados and can be re-branded as CWA (Choristers With Attitude)but I'm not sure if I like the song better. Freddie M. sang beautifully in it but fun fact- it took me a third listen before realizing the song was in English. I've always have a hard time understanding lyrics sung so I might have thought it was in pig Latin or an underwater SpongeBob dialect. The reverb makes it harder to hear it correctly.
Be Still My Soul- not by cup of tea esp. when I have to keep checking if someone slipped a Mickey into the cup. Tooooo slow which makes me feel drugged.
O Beata- a hipster version with reverb and nice beat. I like this one the best.
Carol of the Bells-this one is OK since it's a fast song so the frenetic additions aren't so distracting.
Angel Gabriel- kinda jumpy with visions of the Chipmunks singing. Now I'm complaining it's too fast  but a great disco beat.

Sorry to be such a purist but I don't want to be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century.
