Re: Canada Concerts
Thanks Jimmy It was a nice interview.
Freddie didn't get to say as much as the other two, he seems a natural more quiet person, just like myself. Kavana is a very spontaneous talker and Liam is sort of (literally ) in between. I liked the parts where they talked more about the actual experiences of singing, touring etc. and it was more loosened up and personal.
The interviewer could have been better prepared at some points but maybe for an introduction of Libera to a new audience he did okay.
He mentioned something about Libera having sung with Elton John. I have seen his name mentioned in connection with Libera before but does anyone know more about this collaboration?
Oh, and - the boys' music teachers are truly the unsung heroes of Libera

Re: Canada Concerts
Yes, I thought this too. They of course spot the 'libera' talent within them before anyone else, so a big-up to all musical teachers out there.maartendas wrote:Oh, and - the boys' music teachers are truly the unsung heroes of Libera

Re: Canada Concerts
Made my week that, very enjoyable. And nice to see the full Love & Mercy without Brian's mug popping up in the middle.

On the page it's written that DVD may be ordered.JimmyRiddle wrote:The promised Salt+Light TV Interview - nice and lengthly Probably their most feature packed interview since the Songs of Praise special by BBC.

I wrote to Salt and Light and got an answer :
- It's possible to order DVD while being abroad, it's not reserved for Canadians only
- The DVD contents is exactly the same as on the onlive video, running time 24'06''.
No extra of any kind.
- Standard price is $22.95 (roughly £14), shipment cost is $8,20 for France (the same for England I think).
So a single DVD should cost roughly £20 including shipment.
- The DVD price may lower depending of the volume.
It can go to $15 each for 100 DVD... but I doubt there will be so much demand here.
- Standard format is NTSC, mais apparently they can produce in PAL if needed.
(I don't know too much on that feature but modern DVD player and TV are now compatible with both format, no ?)
How many people here would be interested in ordering such DVD ?
Re: Canada Concerts

I did it 2 hours ago.
Re: Canada Concerts
I just watched the interview, great insight into Libera. Kavana has very much to say and is a great spokesperson for Libera
I think maybe this video deserves its own topic.

Watching the video right now! It's great! Lots of good information and opinions from the boys!
I'm definitely going to try to order a DVD! If my mom will let me, that is (She thinks I've spent too much money on Libera)

Re: Salt and Light TV interview
I don't really see the point of the DVD if it's just the interview as you can watch it online. That's just easy money for Salt & Light. Maybe the stream will someday disappear from their website but even then it's bound to be still available to watch elsewhere on the internet. I guess now we know who the hardcore collectors are

Re: Salt and Light TV interview
The image size of a DVD is 80% bigger than this flv video (near the double), without speaking about the compression quality
But yes, only dumb hardcore collectors worries about things like that !
