A Solo for Kavana Online Petition

I am sorry but i wont sign it. It is up to Robert and he must know what songs suit voices and which boys get solo's.


Not everybody gets a solo in Libera and that is just the way it is.

Are fans going to start demanding that for each boy that never gets a solo and when does it stop?!

I will just let the people who make Libera who they are to just get on with the great job they already do. Who i am to demand that Kavana gets a solo?!

Nice idea, but I think that RP know himself if the time is mature enough to bring Kavana up with a solo.
And if not, there will be some reason for this.

A solo would be nice to have, but this is a choice for RP and we fans should not presurise Libera in any way.

I agree with dani - the choice of soloist(s) is the prerogative of RP alone. He probably gets enough pressure from people far closer to the boys than we are without us joining in! We should just continue to enjoy the music as presented

Kavana has already done solo work back in 2009.

I also agree that RP knows what he's doing...I'd love to hear a solo from Kavana, but I think it's best to step back a little and let RP do things his own way.

Sure.

He did the high solo (Jakob's part this year) on Always With You in Palm Desert. I would suppose he had
the same role in the Japanese concerts which immediately preceded that one, but I don't know that for sure
since I wasn't there. His cold likely prevented him from performing that role at the Crystal Cathedral.

Thanks, you guys. Yes I remember distinctly his shared solo work on The Fountain in Epsom, where he alsmost stole the spotlight from Ralph with his impressive powerful high notes. In fact, it was this which made me long to hear a solo from him one day, a proper one. But I do agree, it would seem a bit too much to ask Libera to do so through a petition. Though it must be endearing to find out there is such support from the fans. But yeah, it's appropriate as fans to wait and accept what we're given, which is an awful lot - it seems like 2011 is a remarkably generous year for Libera fans

Strange this idea with petition..perhaps there are good reasons for the fact that a boy have no solos. Also I think Kavana had different solos in concerts. Really a strange idea the petition...

There's no harm in making a request of course. But thats right, Mr. Prizeman is definitely in a better position to know what is best for their songs. And may i just add maybe Kavana himself doesn't want to record a solo; we don't really know. Some people like JB & Tiarnan, they grew up with Libera but as far as i know they didn't record solos either.

Just as when some question how come Josh always gets a solo and the other big boys do not. It is often said that's because he is popular. But we do not know the real reason. Perhaps none of the other big boys wanted to do it in the first place. So when it comes to who should do a solo, lets leave that for Mr. Prizeman to decide. He's done a excellent job.

I have to agree with what most of the posters have said. It is up to RP and the others at Libera to decide who gets and who doesn't get a solo. I to would like to see Kavana get a solo but if it never happens, I will not any less of him. And besides, there is another young man who has been with Libera much longer and has yet to get a solo. Jonathan B.has been with Libera for over six years without a solo.
