November Concerts in Northern Ireland 2012

Post by JimmyRiddle »

Libera have just posted two events on their webpage - http://www.libera.org.uk/events

Two concerts in Northern Ireland - tickets to go on sale 17th September - They perform at St Patricks Cathedral, Armagh on November 1st and return to St Peter's Cathedral the following day.

There are two St Patrick cathedrals in Armagh -

Church of Ireland (Medieval) on the left and Roman Catholic on the right - they both face each other on top of their respective hills. It's the Roman Catholic Cathedral Libera are perfoming at.

Looks like another trip across the pond. The St. Peter's show for sure. A chance to visit the old hood, visit some relatives and a Libera show. Not a bad time either. Thanks for posting fan-de-loc.

I won't be joining you, sadly.
I'd be interested to see if anyone can find out who financed this tour. Maybe it'll give us some ideas for trying to get them to the Netherlands :)

It looks very simple to go to Armagh. There are Buses with a direct link to this place. :D

Here what I found:

Time-Table Goldline Service 251 (Belfast - Armagh)
Time-Table Goldline Service 251 (Armagh - Belfast)

And for those arriving by plane:

Time-Table Airport - Europa Buscentre (Metro Service 600)
Time-Table Europa Buscentre - Airport (Metro Service 600)

The Fares are £ 2.20 for a single ride from the Airport to the Buscentre and around £ 15.00 for the Bus from Belfast to Armagh and back. There should also be some pick-off prices so maybe some local people can check this prices by calling the Goldline Contact Centre.

I don't think the NI concerts will sell quite as fast as the London concert did this year.

Managed to secure a premium ticket at 18.30 today, 4 and half hours after they went on sale. Remember Arundel's premium tickets were gone in about 45 minutes  here's hoping they get good ticket sales anyway, might be your last chance this year to catch Libera live :D

Great posters - very eye catching from a distance and says exactly what Libera is about - my second favourite all time poster behind The Atlanta 2010 offering, which you can also find on Lauren/Lexi's excellent blog http://mini-angels.blogspot.co.uk/2011/ ... sters.html - the Canadian posters take my 3rd place preference.

I have to say this is my favorite poster . It is is stunning and will sell the Libera message well. It is also current and up to date which always seems to allude them.
