Well, I love to read, but these days I haven't got much time to read. I also love listening to music, especially Libera's! Listening to music is a great relaxation technique too! It gives me a break from the harsh reality of life.. Haha. I kind of like to play a little bit of online games too, once in a while. And chilling out with my friends during the weekends, and definitely, eating is my hobby too! Haha. I'm a pasta and potato salad lover!

I love to read. I've been reading almost everyday since I was 12 and I am soon to be 50. I am a train watcher. I like to watch movies, mostly horror and science-fiction. And, I am a Civil War re-enactor in a Union artillery unit. I am the proud Son of a Union Veteran.

oh yeah, if you all haven't figured it out yet, I love music, music and more music. It has been an everyday part of my life all my life. I can't even imagine life without music.

"Music was my first love,
And it will be my last.
The music of the future,
The music of the past.

Music is my love."

Oooh...definitely reading--we do mountains of it in history, but I also like reading for the sake of reading.

I'm a BBC junkie! Probably 80-90% of my entire activity online rotates around BBC content.

Lucky,
With the lack of a PBS station transmitting digitally in my area, I have no way to see anything on BBC America. And, I really miss the Brit Coms. Man I love Keeping Up Appearances.

Well now, I don't get BBC America :( :( . My BBC fix is satisfied via the internet--I am a huge consumer of the BBC News Service and the World Service. I recently started a volunteer job with World Service, helping to moderate their interactive blog (http://www.worldhaveyoursay.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), and I gave an interview to Newshour as Ike was blowing overhead--I love the BBC! (that probably sounds completely ridiculous to the Britons on the forum ;) ).

For some time now, if I want the real news of our own country, the United States, I go to the BBC for it. You'd be surprised at the things that happen in our nation that we don't get to hear from our own news sorces.

...not to mention the rest of the world. The BBC might be "British," but it's a world-class news organization. Their reporting of the US election has been absolutely first-rate; I watched the presidential debate online via the News Service site after seeing that the American groups were cluttering up the screen with all kinds of statistics and ticker thingies.

I enjoy reading, music, movies, and wildlife and nature photography. Two things that can calm my soul better than anything, is listening to my Libera Cds or taking a walk in the woods with my camera :D

Amen Digs.

Any chance you live near me? I'd love to go for a walk with someone I could talk music with.

No, I live about 60 miles southwest of Chicago. If you are ever down this way we will have to get together and do just that.

Same here as well, if you are in Mechanicsburg, PA, tell me and I will see you have my number to come visit. I live on Blue Mountain so lots of woods to walk in.
