Thanks for the info!

Although, I am unaccountably irritated by the name change of the venue!!

Until at least 2021, it was still a consecrated church with a couple of eucharist services a year, although I can't find any recent ones... so perhaps they let it go. But that's no reason to change a historic name... no doubt some marketing person got paid a fortune for that magnificent idea.

An early an announcement and a surprisingly early ticket sale! Love it!

I've already totally exceeded my travel budget for a long long time with Libera this summer and a different unrelated trip, so this isn't even an option for me.

Good that they are doing things so promptly nowadays to allow ample planning time.

Good to know, I will plan ahead :D I liked the idea of 2 Christmas concerts in 2023, but I guess it's a lot (find a venue, twice the amount of money...).

Does the renaming mean that supporters can no longer book seats in advance like mere mortals?

This would be a step forward compared to last year. :D

I'm sorry, Miss Sophie, but it looks like it will be the same procedure as every year.

They have the same membership system under the new name, so I suspect (but have not confirmed!) that booking will open next Monday or Friday for those people.

No, not that terrible procedure again. :(

I wish they would never sing again at this venue which has such a broken ticket system. There are so many beautiful English churches where they could hold their concert instead.

Of course, I will give it a try on July 8 and maybe there's a chance that things will work out better this year. But I expect the worst.

Grr Hmmpf

It's what I secretly feared. No improvement in the seating department...

Given that sometimes members of the forum are not always available to book tickets as soon as they go on sale, I have purchased a pair of tickets in the centre of the 3rd row in case any late comers have missed out. Let me know if you are interested in them.

#edit# tickets now sold.

A Pretty strong start to ticket sales considering the price has gone up and over half the seats are priced at A Band.

Hopefully with the new album out in the autumn we will get some new songs in December mixed in with the Christmas stuff :D

This is reserved for me!! :D :D
Well it's going to be an adventure. I'm going to try to organize a whole weekend in London to act like a tourist. I will leave Monday!
For the first time in my life I will have to take a plane  (from France).
If you have good deals for inexpensive accommodation in London, even modest ones, I'm interested!

I have to admit the booking situation was a lot better this year. Only the first row was already completely gone when the regular ticket sale started, but there were some tickets available in all other rows. What a pleasant surprise. :)

Also good to see that the regular sale is going quite well so far!
