Now that Libera has started to dig out a very old song to bring it into their concert life by singing Twilight, do you think they will go on to use this pool?
Are you hoping for that or would you prefer new songs that Libera never sang anywhere, neither live nor on recordins?
I think they have such a treasure box sleeping there that it can excellently serve to build one of the song pillars for their concerts.
I see them revisiting Wayfaring Stranger for example. It would be logical after From a Distance, as it's also an arrangement by Sam. It is a superb one, so intense, and I would really welcome hearing it again.
Apart from that, my hopes grow into the skies right now for
Attendite
Ave Verum (Robert Prizeman)
Benedictus Deus
Sancte
Sanctissima
Secret (needing a doe eyes smiley)
Silencium
Something Sings
Stabat Mater
Touch the Sky
Venite Adoremus
Three Ravens was named in another thread and I'd love that, as it's a magnificent song, but I can't imagine them singing it in a church. *wouldlovetobewrong*

I think seeing one of the little guys singing "Touch the Sky" at a live concert would be adorable beyond belief.filiarheni wrote: ↑3 months ago Now that Libera has started to dig out a very old song to bring it into their concert life by singing Twilight, do you think they will go on to use this pool?

I agree. And this is such a beautiful song, very soothing with its unique atmosphere.Luckdragon wrote: ↑3 months ago I think seeing one of the little guys singing "Touch the Sky" at a live concert would be adorable beyond belief.

They did "Wayfaring Stranger" for so long I think I've had enough of it personally - though it's a good song, no doubt. In my view, brand new music is always an extra special treat for fans.
Some songs like "Touch the Sky" and "Three Ravens" may be impractical in a concert even if they work on recordings. Guess we'll have to wait and see!

Well, looks like I will be missing "Nine lessons & Carols" at St P's this year so I'm hoping perhaps I might hear "O Magnum Mysterium" at the SJSS concert instead. There is usually a good helping of seasonal songs, sacred and secular, at that event so why not?
