I know, I know - how could they not be Ben? I'm just not certain in my own mind. Perhaps if I had the CD and a good pair of headphones.......
I'm with you. There are too many transitionary possibilities (voice changes, introduction of new core of solos).
It's very difficult to say with certainty that one of the boys is definitely lead solo on any of these four songs. Honestly, without the MV, I would not be conclusive with Josh being the solo on "Time".
I have heard four-month old clips of the speaking voices of Alfie, Ralph, Daniel, Freddie, Kavana and the Jameses and to quote Tim Connery from the SOP special, "they don't sound like Libera when they are being normal boys."
There is also the distortion by the "who I want it to be" versus " of the "who it really is".
All I can say is that the solo on Lacrymosa is the best of the three to date and the soloist on the Fountain (if it's a
one soloist effort) has amazing vocal range.
