Don't know how to take that though....
Hi Rebecca
So glad that you enjoyed the concert and that the other “groupies†looked after you. I wouldn’t be offended by the term. I have met many of them and number myself among them. We are just ordinary harmless people whose “souls†(for want of a better word) have been irrevocably touched by Libera’s music.
At Hamilton, rather than trying to get as close to the front as possible, for the first time in 20 concerts I took a seat in the balcony. I would recommend that everyone try this at least once. It gives a new perspective and an appreciation of the intricacies of the set formations and choreography not readily apparent at ground level and there was no loss of sound quality.
I was pleased that the pastor at this venue took the time to personally welcome visitors from overseas and south of the border.
Today the sun actually shone in Southern Ontario and temperatures hit double digits for the first time since Libera’s arrival. I hope they were able to take advantage of this and enjoy something a little more interesting than movie theatres and bowling alleys (see blog).
The venue for tomorrow’s concert looks very impressive and a fitting location for the finale of this most excellent tour. I only wish there had been the opportunity to thank them personally.
Remembering that Libera’s music is very much a team effort I am trying to resist the temptation to mention individual excellent performances, there were so many, but I cannot let six consistently absolutely perfect renditions of “Stay With Me†pass without comment. Thank you Daniel.
