The Christmas Album CD (2011)

I've been playing the Christmas CD to my primary grade music students. Since many of my students in these classes are also in my primary choir, I am hoping that hearing Libera will give them some inspiration as we prepare for our school's Christmas concerts. They are beginning to appreciate the talents of Libera as a whole and hopefully will feel inclined to adopt Libera as a role model for their own singing. They were curious as to who Libera are, so I let them see the cover (deluxe edition) and told them a bit about Libera. A couple of little girls in different classes liked the picture of the boys and were convinced that Cassius looks like Justin Bieber! (I'm not so sure about that!) Anyway, many of the children are really impressed with the sound of Libera, and those who heard them in class last year often ask to hear them again! Another victory (or set of victories) for the boys from London!

They're playing the album in my mall! I've been twice in the last week and it's been playing both times, so it looks like this is their Christmas soundtrack this year.
I said on the Philippine tour thread that I don't think Libera should perform in St. James the Great due to hassle for the fans, but maybe Alabang is ready for them. At least, maybe it is now. April April! Haha, I'm still hoping.
ATC [the mall] is one of the Ayala malls, so maybe it's playing in the rest like Greenbelt etc? Maybe even in Cebu? Haha if anyone finds out, make sure to say something!

Not in TriNoMa But I was hoping an Ayala Mall representative would play it in ALL their malls! That would reach more people and boost more sales! Paging AYALA management, pls!!!

I still don't know if Bliss TV have already aired this, or will be doing so in the future.

According to Bliss TV Twitter they are showing the Libera takeover right ...... now. So if you do have Bliss TV available on Sky 372, Freesat 517 turn over to them now. Sadly I haven't got it on Virgin Media.

Sucks doesn't it. NTL had the channel in 2007 but then for some strange reason lost it from the lineup. I don't even watch music channels but I wouldn't mind it now.

I just got confirmation of the program on a site giving TV schedules, but I failed to find any live stream of that channel.

One full hour of Libera in a Christmas Special... I really wonder what it can be !
Hope someone have access and is able to record it, to share it with the worldwide fans community

Fingers crossed they might upload a little part of it on their Youtube channel but I won't hold my breath. They only have 72 facebook fans.

It's okay I think FanInPlymouth (Michael) is watching it and twitted that five boys are just presenting Christmas songs not singing. Libera 'resident' disc jockeys for the night, new ground as been broken

Just here to share my Christmas album experience today. WAIT - not the full album... yet Before you think I lost my bet with LennesSL
But since today is the first Sunday of Advent I was allowed to listen to Veni Veni Emmanuel! Oh how I savoured the moment! Sitting on the couch next to my boyfriend, sipping coffee, watching the dreary early Sunday afternoon weather blowing away, it was a wonderful experience. I loved the build up and the atmosphere was actually darker than I had expected. Daniel gives a great solo, I can just picture him singing it - not with his usual smirky smile but in his more subdued facial expression. The climax with the organ and strings worked wonders. When the song finished, I thought to myself: they did it again!

My boyfriend was not so enthusiastic as me though He loves the singing but not combined with the synthesizer sounds. He prefers more traditional musical accompaniment for Libera. Made me realise once again that RP's work is still groundbreaking Oh and as he was sitting next to me my boyfriend can testify I listened to Veni and Veni only

It's quite something to savour an album this way. So far I have only heard three tracks - Joy to the World (because of the free preview), Carol of the Bells (because how could you miss it with so many videos ) and now Veni. And this way every song leaves a distinct and intense impression. I can only imagine what it will be when I come home from singing in the Christmas Eve service and make some hot chocolate and pop in the CD once more and allow myself to just press "play" and snuggle down Hey, Advent is about waiting and expectation, isn't it?

I wonder why there is such a discrepancy in the release dates of Libera CDs in different countries? Not long ago we in the US were lamenting getting the latest Libera CD s month later than Asia and Europe, now it's the release in the UK that's delayed.

THE CHRISTMAS ALBUM DELUXE arrived today!!!!! I was for a walk with my dog, when I came back the packet was at my door
I'm very happy now, pleased, jump up & down I waited for it over a month.
Feels so good to hear Daniel, Jakob, Freddy & all the others here in my room *look around* Really, in my real room *enchanted by angel's voices*

I received the album also today I already have the "Winter songs" album but I'm still waiting on the Deluxe edition.
